What Is Multi Level Marketing

During the years a lot of businesses tried to find new ways to sell and deliver their merchandise to more and more customers. One of the marketing solutions was found in a method which is called "Multi Level Marketing" also known as "MLM" or "Network Marketing". In this article we will try to find out what is this marketing method and how does it work.
Multi level marketing – What does it mean?
In every kind of business the most important thing is to deliver and sell the services or the products of the business. Now, think about a moment that your business will have a lot of independent sales persons that will be compensated only based on their sales. The marketing model called "MLM" believes that the company who produces the service or the product, should share it's revenue with the independent sales persons who make most of the efforts to sell the company's service or product. Basically, the MLM system is very much alike any other marketing system but in the same time it is very different. In this model there is a "mother ship" (The Parent Company) who sends its sailors (The independent sales persons) to find people which can either buy the product or service, or can also be sailors at the mother ship. At the end of each day there are more people who are looking for the next sale and each independent sales person is earning money based on the sales he achieved and based on the sales that all of the other sales persons, that he found and recruit to the parent company.
Multi Level Marketing – How Does It Work?
In order to understand how multi level marketing works you must first understand that you will be a part of a group that probably at first you will be at the end of that group and after you will start working you can build your own group that you will be at the top of the chain. Everybody in the group that you have created has one common goal, which is to sell as much as you can, and because you are being compensated on your sales and also on other people in your group, which is usually called "downline", sales, there is a basic understanding between the members of the downline that you should help to other people in your downline. Now, lets say that you have bought what ever you need in order to become an independent sales person, you have now a few ways to run your business, on one hand you can start selling the products that you have bought to consumers or you can start looking for more independent sales persons that they will buy also the products from the parent company, and on the other hand you can do both things and make your profits even bigger. At the end of each month (can be different in different companies) you will receive a payment from the parent company for all the commissions that you have earned by your direct sales and commissions that you have earned based on other people sales in your downline.
